SEE PROJECT
Join Us – Furniture project by IBA
In the heart of Milan's most dynamic district, between Via Pompeo Leoni and Viale Toscana, Join Us, the new café created by Galdus, one of Lombardy's leading professional training institutions, opens its doors.
More than a bar, Join Us is a place for meeting and growth, where education, work, and socializing come together in an environment open to the public and designed to welcome students, teachers, visitors, and citizens.
IBA curated the furnishings for this multifunctional space, aiming to create a contemporary and welcoming atmosphere, where every element fosters connection and dialogue.
The large central counter, workstations, and spatial organization meet the needs of a hybrid space, where you can enjoy a coffee, study, work, or participate in meetings and events.
Join Us is a project that unites design, education, and community, and IBA is proud to have created its style.

BERGAMO
SEE PROJECT
Architects: Carlo Samarati and Gianmaria Rencurosi
In the historic center of Bergamo, under the protection of the Fine Arts, Rive Gauche is a bistro with a refined and glamorous style.
The custom-made furnishings, designed by IBA, transform the space into a dynamic environment of curves, solids and voids, precious materials, and artisanal craftsmanship. Each element—from the cocktail counters to the sofas, from the Canaletto walnut paneling to the brass and glass shelves—has been conceived as a unique piece, built to last and interact with light, function, and time.
The bistro seats around 30 and unfolds in a harmonious sequence: café, cocktail bar, wine bar and display niches.
A project where design meets art, materials become a story, and every detail contributes to creating a strong, elegant, and authentic identity.

Overlooking Bergamo's main avenue, we participated in the renovation of this historic venue, a key meeting place and exclusive venue for city gatherings. Our designers crafted the interiors using fine woods, including solid Canaletto walnut strips. The surfaces have a Portoro marble effect, and the Ceppo di Grè ceramic floor, featuring antique brass finishes, supports custom-made furnishings. Natural light plays a key role, and the color palette blends beautifully with the dove gray lacquered wood paneling.

An elegant yet mysterious and captivating space; red Moroso armchairs become a metaphor for sensuality and the color of flesh. The brass tabletops are covered in reflections and frame the runners that vanish into the buttonholes at the edges; the wine cellars, designed as permeable dividing elements that create further plays of light; the inclusion of greenery within—everything is designed to draw attention to the project's bespoke details.

Thirty kilometers off the coast of Ajaccio, we furnished a traditional restaurant. Metalwork encloses the kitchen area and creates spacious, elegant display cases. The built-in furnishings are made of light wood with dark lacquer. The most original feature is the counter selling traditional products, crafted from a reclaimed portion of a vintage French van. Often used in the past for street vending of cured meats, cheeses, and wine, the countertop is distinctive and unique, featuring exposed poplar logs.

In the heart of Lugano, we designed the furnishings for this new sushi-fusion restaurant, following an innovative design that required meticulous craftsmanship in the use of unique materials and finishes. The harmony created by the combination of oak and burnished brass created an extremely refined and welcoming atmosphere. The gold and blue hues, echoed by the fine velvet fabrics, glass, and ceramics with unique effects, evoke the flavors and colors of the sea and the sun. Adding to the restaurant's charm is the modern open kitchen located on the mezzanine level. The focal point of the restaurant is an exclusive fish-shaped chandelier that welcomes guests with a special charm.
